Andrea bring 22 years of experience in nursing to the helm of Vellum Ink LLC. Her professional background includes ventures in public health research, project & report writing and editing.

As an RN, she has cared for patients in the perioperative setting. As a nurse practitioner, she specialized in orthopedic surgery, assisting in surgery and providing bedside patient care. She has authored educational materials for patients and staff. In 2009, She wrote a course called “XX” designed to teach RNs how to become OR circulators in the outpatient setting.

For the last 10 years, she has contributed writing, editing and book composition and design services to a biblical literature interest group.

Andrea founded Vellum Ink LLC to serve the healthcare industry as a freelance writer.

She bring her unique background in nurse practice, writing and education to bear in her professional writing services. She has the ability to translate complex concepts & language into language that is simple, clear and easy to understand. She has a keen eye for crafting content that is specific and speaks to the given audience.

She is a lifelong learner, avid traveler and student of ancient history & archeology.
